Hi!

My name is Birger and I am the founder of Bnorsk.no.

I have extensive experience teaching Norwegian to immigrants and foreigners. I have taught Norwegian at Oslo Adult Education Centre for many years. And in recent years, I have taught Norwegian courses at the summer school at the University of Oslo.

My educational background includes a teacher qualification, a 1-year certificate in teaching Norwegian as a second language, and a master's degree in business management. In 2026 I am also completing a doctorate. Here you can find my profile on LinkedIn.

In 2018 I founded Bnorsk.no. The website quickly became popular, and it is now used by many Norwegian language learners and by teachers teaching Norwegian as a second language.

In my free time I enjoy running, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
