The website Bnorsk.no was eastablished by Norwegian language teacher Birger in 2018, and has since become a very popular site for people who are learning the Norwegian language, and for Norwegian language teachers.
Bnorsk.no provides a free online resource for people who are learning Norwegian and Norwegian language workbooks that can be purchased through our website.

The company behind Bnorsk.no is a business registered with the Norwegian Register of Business Enterprises. The company is inspired by the two concepts social entrepreneurship and freemium:
Social entrepreneurship is the concept of creating a business to provide solutions to specific social or environmental challenges, while simultaneously achieving financial sustainability. Bnorsk.no seeks to help immigrants succeed in Norwegian society by providing innovative Norwegian language learning resources.
Freemium is a business model in which a company provides certain products/services to users for free while generating an income by providing certain additional premium products/services to users that are willing to pay for them. Bnorsk.no provides the online resource Bnorsk.no for free to everyone while generating an income by selling Norwegian language workbooks produced by Bnorsk.no.

My name is Birger and I am the creator of Bnorsk.no. I have taught the Norwegian language to foreigners and immigrants since 2008, and my experience includes teaching at the Oslo Adult Education Centre and at the summer school of the University of Oslo.
I established Bnorsk.no in 2018 as a free website for people who are learning or teaching Norwegian. This website includes lots of resources produced by myself, along with links to a vast number of other useful resources for people who are learning Norwegian.
